ROANOKE COUNTY ON PRIVATE LAND- Now allows you kill 2 deer per day , but it is still an EAB(earn a buck) county.
The other 2 deer per day on private land counties West of the BR are Clarke, Frederick, Shenandoah and Warren(including the cities and towns within)
EAST OF THE BLUE RIDGE
As usual, its 2 deer per day in all counties.
The daily bag limit for deer is unlimited in Arlington, Fairfax, Loudon, and Prince William counties (including the cities and towns within). However, no more than three antlered deer may be killed in a license year.
For some hunter's the game stays the same, but for Star City Whitetails and other hunter's who have been limited to 1 deer per day on private land in Roanoke Co and a few other private land localities West of the BR for years, can now stay put in the stand/blind after an initial kill. This flexibility in Bag Limits is much welcomed....
